Sir Mark Cavendish is widely regarded as the greatest sprinter in cycling history. Born on the Isle of Man, he joined professional road cycling in 2006 and quickly made his mark by winning multiple stages at the Giro d'Italia and Tour de France. Cavendish has achieved 52 Grand Tour stage wins, won points jerseys at all three grand tours, became UCI Road Race World Champion in 2011 and won silver for Great Britain at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. His achievements led to him winning BBC Sports Personality of the Year, as well as receiving an MBE from Her Majesty the Queen. He equalled Eddy Merckx's record of 34 Tour de France stage wins in 2021 and surpassed it with his 35th win in 2024. In June 2024, Cavendish was awarded a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire (KBE), at the end of the year he was also awarded the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Lifetime Achievement Award.

Please note that purchasing a separate copy of the book online or in-store is not an eligible ticket. Due to high demand, photographs with Sir Mark Cavendish will not be possible.
