Renowned French Illustrator Fabrice Matray and Ireland-based American caricaturist Mark Heng will discuss and present their work. How did they start drawing, the process and steps of publishing an illustrated book, a session of drawing live caricatures … pop in for a sitting and take home your own caricature!Mark Heng will demonstrate live caricature drawings with the image projected on the screen, while a short film produced by Fabrice Matray will be screened showing the different steps necessary to make an illustration and the various working techniques, traditional and digital.
Co-organised by the French Embassy in Ireland and Alliance Française Dublin, the event will be presented in English by Margaret Anne Suggs, Irish-American illustrator and board member of Illustrators Ireland.
