The world is moving towards sustainable fashion, from using pure cotton to make clothes to using recyclable wastes or a mix of the grill. Remember, the mantra now is "waste to wealth". The Meet Africa Fashion Festival (MAFEST) is at the front line of promoting Nigeria's principle of circular economy with a plan to May next year train 150 emerging designers from Nigeria and Africa at large on how to use waste products to design Fashion pieces and household items.
One of the sidelines of MAFEST 2026 is Eco-Fashion workshop through which we equip the designers with the skill.
