Meet A Scientist: Saturday, April 25, 2026 || 10:00AM - 1:00PM

Celebrate Earth Day with a day of discovery and fun at Meet a Scientist! Connect with scientists and conservationists from across Maine, explore interactive experiences inspired by their work, and learn how to make an impact as a community scientist.

What to Expect:

  • Tables around the park showcasing topics such as wildlife conservation, water quality, climate science, and more!
  • Hands-on activities and games for all ages.
  • Opportunities to learn the basics of scientific research and how you can contribute to real-world projects and become a Community Scientist!

Plus! Pick up a stamp card at the Hirundo table, visit at least 7 tables, and receive a free poster of your choice (while supplies last)!

Whether you're a curious kid, an aspiring scientist, or just love learning, this event has something for everyone. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to celebrate Earth Day, meet amazing scientists, and enjoy the great outdoors.
