Medzinárodná konferencia Otvorená Kultúra! 19 – 20. máj 2026, Stará tržnica, Bratislava
Druhý ročník medzinárodnej konferencie Otvorená Kultúra! sa zameria na kroky, ktorými sa občianska kultúrna spoločnosť môže brániť pred politickým nátlakom, zhoršujúcimi sa sociálno-pracovnými podmienkami a ďalšími výzvami, ktorým čelí kreatívny sektor.
Medzinárodnou témou konferencie bude návrh európskeho zákona o umeleckej slobode EAFA (European Artist Freedom Act), na ktorý verejne vyzvala Bratislavská deklarácia, podpísaná na minulom ročníku konferencie. Domácou témou bude Plán obnovy a odolnosti kultúry ‒ projekt, v ktorom odborníci a odborníčky navrhujú opatrenia pre stabilizáciu a čo najrýchlejšiu obnovu funkčnosti kultúrneho sektora po voľbách.

Organizátorom je občianska platforma Otvorená Kultúra! a Anténa – sieť pre nezávislú kultúru v spolupráci s Wiener Festwochen a ďalšími významnými medzinárodnými partnermi ako Artistic Freedom Initiative, European Alliance of Academies, Culture Action Europe, Resistance Now!, European Theater Convention, Opera Europe, PEARLE, Network of European Museum Organisations, Trans Europe Halles, Reset! Network a ďalšími.

Open Culture! International Conference 2026
May 19 – 20, Stará Tržnica, Bratislava
The second edition of the Open Culture! International Conference will focus on how the civil cultural society can defend itself against political pressures, on deteriorating socio-economic working conditions and other challenges facing the creative sector.
The conference’s international theme will be European Artist Freedom Act (EAFA), the proposed EU legislation publicly called for at last year’s conference by the Bratislava Declaration. Domestically, the conference will focus on the Cultural Recovery and Resilience Plan, a project in which non-partisan experts propose measures to stabilise and restore the cultural sector in Slovakia after parliamentary elections.

The conference is organised by the Open Culture! platform and Anténa – Network for Independent Culture, in cooperation with Wiener Festwochen and other significant international partners, including Artistic Freedom Initiative, European Alliance of Academies, Culture Action Europe, Resistance Now!, European Theatre Convention, Opera Europa, PEARLE – Live Performance Europe, Network of European Museum Organisations, Trans Europe Halles, Reset! Network, and others.
