The 2nd May marks the grand launch of Medway Market, a brand-new, traditional monthly Saturday market running from 08:00 – 16:00, set within the breathtaking surroundings of Slip 5 at Chatham Historic Dockyard.
Entry is FREE, and parking is avaible onsite.
This isn’t just a location it’s history in motion.For centuries, markets and traders supported the Dockyard workforce and their families. The buzz of commerce, conversation and community once filled this historic space. Though that tradition faded over time, we are now reigniting that spirit of enterprise in the very place where ships were once built and launched. Medway Market is more than a market.
It’s a vibrant celebration of Medway’s working heritage, its talented local traders, passionate craftspeople and diverse community.
