๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ je naslov konference, ki jo organiziramo v Moderni galeriji ob razstavi ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ z naslovom ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ (๐๐)๐๐๐๐๐๐ฬ๐๐๐๐๐. Ta z zgodbami, fotografijami, videi, skulpturami in instalacijami raziskuje grajenje, naseljevanje in narative svetov ter naฤine, kako predmeti, podobe in zgodbe oblikujejo tako zgodovinske kot namiลกljene pokrajine.
๐ Konferenca preuฤuje, kako se sodobna umetnost in teorija odzivata na realnost, ki jo zaznamujejo ลกtevilne ฤasovnosti โ labirintne, nelinearne, digitalne, trenutne, veฤne, asinhrone in spekulativne โ, in spraลกuje, kako bi v takih pogojih lahko na novo premislili umetnostno zgodovino, tradicije in muzeje prihodnosti.
๐ Konferenca se navezuje na razstavo ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ v Moderni galeriji leta 2006, ki je vzpostavila dialog med vzhodnoevropskimi umetniki in umetniki z Bliลพnjega vzhoda, in se osredotoฤa na umetniลกke prakse, izhajajoฤe iz t. i. ยปprostorov prekinjenih zgodovinยซ, kjer so pogoje za ohranjanje dolgotrajnih zgodovinskih narativov onemogoฤali stoletja dolgi ekonomski, verski in epistemoloลกki boji. ๐ผ Na razstavi Walida Raada so na ogled tudi ๐ค๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ณฬ๐ข ๐ ๐๐๐ฐ๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง, nekdanje libanonske vojaลกke obveลกฤevalke, ki je med libanonsko drลพavljansko vojno lokalnim in mednarodnim voditeljem dodeljevala ลกifrirana imena. Ti kolaลพi predstavljajo ยปbesednjakยซ, ki ni vkljuฤen v sisteme znanja. Umetniki razvijajo podobne ยปprotibesednjakeยซ v ฤasu naraลกฤajoฤega nasilja, ko se nenehno pojavljajo nove oblike kodifikacije kulturne dediลกฤine skupaj z novimi naฤini kolonizacije znanja, zlasti s pomoฤjo umetne inteligence. V naลกih nevarnih ฤasih je pomembna strategija tudi to, da se izognemo radarju teh procesov kategorizacije in komodifikacije in se v sluลพbi ยปprotiobveลกฤevalnih dejavnostiยซ nauฤimo drugaฤe uporabljati domiลกljijo, znanje in tehnologijo.

The ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐น๐๐ ๐๐ conference takes place around ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐๐โs exhibition at Moderna galerija in Ljubljana, where stories, photographs, videos, sculptures, and installations explore how worlds are built, inhabited and narrated, and how objects, images and stories shape both our historical and imaginary landscapes.
๐ The conference examines how contemporary art and theory respond to a reality marked by multiple temporalities โ labyrinthine, non-linear, digital, instantaneous, eternal, asynchronous, and speculative, among others โ and asks how we might rethink art history, traditions, and the museums of the future under such conditions.
๐ Leaning on the 2006 exhibition ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ at Moderna galerija โ which brought Eastern European artists into dialogue with artists from the Middle East โ the conference examines artistic practices emerging from what we call โspaces of interrupted histories.โ In this context, the very conditions for sustaining long-term historical narratives have been disrupted by centuries of economic, religious, and epistemological struggle. While some artists from these regions register the absence and continual undermining of certain traditions as scenes of individual and collective trauma, of forces affecting subjects in the world, others view this absence as symptomatic of more pervasive, insidious, and fracturing forces where the very concept of โthe worldโ begins to come apart.
๐ผ Walid Raadโs exhibition also features ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐๐ฌ ๐๐ฒ ๐ ๐๐๐ฐ๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง, a former Lebanese Army intelligence officer who assigned code names to local and international leaders during the Lebanese Civil War. These collages represent a โvocabularyโ that has not been incorporated into knowledge systems. Artists are developing similar โcounter-vocabulariesโ in times of increasing violence when new forms of codifying cultural heritage are constantly emerging โ along with new ways of colonizing knowledge, especially with the help of AI. In our dangerous times, one of the important strategies is to avoid the radar of these categorization and commodification processes, and learn to use our imagination, knowledge and technology differently in the service of โcounterintelligence activities.โ
