Since our founding in 1932, St. Mary Orthodox Christian Church has celebrated its Mediterranean heritage through public dinners and bake sales. This has been an important and continuous part of our parish life and outreach, and each May, we look forward to continuing that tradition with our annual Mediterranean Festival.

DAYTIME from 11 am – 6 pm
We’re offering our traditional dinner for dine-in or carryout as well as our fan-favorite Mediterranean Marketplace. New this year: you can eat outside under a tent as well as inside in our dining room. Your plated meal is the same price as last year ($22) and includes:
Kibbee
Grilled chicken kabob (Chicken Shish Tawook)
Green beans and rice
Greek salad
Talamee (Bread)
Baklawa
You may also purchase ethnic wines, beer, and drinks!
EVENING from 6 pm - 10 pm
We’re excited to bring back our Hafli outside under the tent during the evening hours. Enjoy ala carte food items, ethnic wines, beer, and drinks, music, and Dabke (Arabic dancing)!
You’ll love this festive new evening format! Evening menu items are priced separately, and individual options include:

Maza Plate (hummus, veggies, pita bread)

TICKETS
Tickets are not required for entry or meal purchases. We accept cash, card, and pre-paid tickets in our dine-in, carry-out, eat under the tent, and Marketplace.
LOCATION
St. Mary Orthodox Christian Church, located at 344 S. Martinson, two blocks west of Seneca on Maple.
FORMAT
Indoor and outdoor seating are available, as well as carry-out, with our famous Mediterranean Marketplace (from 11 am - 6 pm) for additional shopping.
COST
Plated meals from 11 am - 6 pm are $22 and can be purchased in our dining room. We accept cash, card, and pre-paid tickets.
A la carte items are available outdoors under the tent from 6 pm - 10 pm. We accept cash, card, and pre-paid tickets.
INDOOR & OUTDOOR SEATING is AVAILABLE & CARRY OUT
You can purchase and take our food to go or you can dine in with us! While inside, visit our Mediterranean Marketplace to pick up some extra goodies to take home!
MEDITERRANEAN MARKETPLACE (11 am - 6 pm)
Shop our selection of unique pastries, breads, desserts, and other items from around the world, along with classic American favorites. Many of these items are one-of-a-kind and can't be found anywhere else in Wichita! We have something for everyone, but quantities are limited!
BOOKSTORE & CHURCH TOURS (11 am - 5 pm)
Visit our bookstore where you'll find a unique selection of books, art, jewelry, music, and other items. The church will also be open for tours. Join us at 5:00 pm for Vespers.
CHARITY PARTNER
St. Mary is donating 10% of our net proceeds to Senior Services.
Senior Services of Wichita is a private not for profit organization best known as the Wichita Meals on Wheels provider. The organization’s main objective is to keep senior citizens safe while living in their own homes. Senior Centers and the Senior Employment Program keep active seniors connected to the community and each other.
For those who are homebound and isolated Meals on Wheels delivers a hot, nutritious meal to 900 seniors in the Wichita city limits. The eight Community Meals sites help mobile seniors meet their nutritional needs while also providing personal connections and fellowship.
