About this Event
Taking care of your mind, in a distracted world
If you've tried meditation and thought "this isn't working" - you're not alone. This session is designed for busy, distracted and curious minds, not silent ones.
In this 45-minute guided session, you'll be led through some simple Zen practices that work with your mind, not against it.
You don't need silence to meditate. We include real-world distraction as part of the practice; because life isn't quiet either.
Learn to settle, focus and reset your weekend.
You’re welcome to attend just the meditation, or stay for both parts of the session.
Babbling Zen sessions are non-therapeutic meditation practices. Participants are responsible for their own wellbeing and may pause or step out at any time.
What to expect
Sessions rotate different techniques. This month's focus is on expanding a positive sense of joy, stability, connection and freedom.
• a short teisho (a brief talk introducing the methods being used)
• guided Zen meditation (no experience needed)
• live sound to support attention and grounding
• time to settle, restore, and return slowly
We practice with the spirit of:
nowhere to be, nothing to do.
Perfect for
• anyone craving quiet, calm, and reconnection
• anyone curious about Zen but unsure where to start
• anyone feeling worn down and in need of a reset
