A wonderful way to round off your weekend - a restorative evening of meditation and relaxation. We will gently stretch, breathe, meditate, relax and listen to soothing sounds.
A candlelit session of deep relaxation, held at the beautiful yoga studio in Twyford.
The session will start with some gentle stretches to warm the body and enable you to be comfortable for meditation. I will guide you through a pranayama technique(breath control), mudras, and a simple meditation. You will then settle down and get comfortable with blankets and bolsters, and listen to a guided relaxation. You will then be treated to soothing sounds of the gongs, rainstick, Koshi chimes, and singing bowls.
The evening will finish with herbal tea and homemade chocolates.
The evening is welcoming to all - including those new to meditation & sound baths. You will learn techniques to regulate and calm the nervous system.
This session is not recommended for women in the first trimester of pregnancy or those who have recently had a hip / joint operation or metal implants.
