What is Awakening?
A Daylong Retreat @Patch
Don’t Miss Abbess Ani Lodro Palmo’s
First Time Teaching in Miami!
Patch warmly invites you to the second edition of Meditate With a Master. This year, we have the honor of welcoming Tibetan Buddhist Nun Ani Lodro Palmo, best-selling author, spiritual teacher, and Abbess of Vajra Vidya Monastery. She has dedicated her life to the service of others’ growth and awakening.
Her teachings come from the direct experience of her own life journey. She describes it as “the first half a pile of futile pursuits and indulgences to become somebody, and the second half a deconstruction of the first half to become nobody.”
The focus of Ani’s teachings is to uncover the layers of our human condition and reveal something more fundamental and intimate. This is an exploration of transformation through spiritual practice that carries us into a higher love and an understanding that we are this Love.
Rooted in the wisdom of the Kagyu lineage and inspired by the life of Jetsün Milarepa, this retreat offers a grounded and accessible entry into the Buddhist path as a lived and embodied experience.
Through storytelling, guided meditation, and contemplative inquiry, Ani Lodro Palmo will share teachings drawn from Milarepa’s journey. These teachings reveal how challenge, self-doubt, and inner struggle can become conditions for transformation and freedom.
Rather than seeking to escape difficulty, this day invites participants to meet their lives with compassion, courage, and clarity, allowing wisdom to unfold naturally through presence and care.

🙏 Teachings inspired by the life and realization of Milarepa
