About Heartfulness Worldwide

Heartfulness is about feeling. Our entire life is led by feelings and inspiration, and that is the role of the heart. When we manage to listen to the heart and capture the inspiration that comes from within, we learn to master our life. The whole exercise of fine-tuning the heart with the mind is through meditation on the heart, and that is why it is called mindfulness meditation.

We support millions of people with over 16000 volunteer trainers and 500 meditation centers in over 160 countries to achieve a more balanced, centered, and peaceful life through meditation, yoga and other Heartfulness initiatives that support inner transformation and wellbeing.

Why is Heartfulness meditation offered for free?

Heartfulness meditation is offered free of charge, as part of a global initiative to promote well-being and peace. The organisation believes that financial constraints should not limit access to practices that encourage inner peace.

Is Heartfulness meditation suitable for everyone?

Heartfulness meditation is accessible to participants ages 18 and above, and for individuals of all backgrounds and experiences. It does not require any specific belief system or lifestyle change.

Is there any dress code for these sessions?

There is no specific dress code. The venue is indoors.

I have a busy schedule. Is Heartfulness meditation still a good fit for me?

Absolutely. Heartfulness meditation can be practiced in any quiet space and does not require a significant time commitment. Heartfulness meditation sessions are typically recommended to be 20 minutes long, making them achievable even with a packed schedule.

Is it necessary to join a group or can I practice meditation on my own?

Yes, you can practice on your own. Meditation is a personal journey and can be practised independently. However, Heartfulness offers guidance and a structured approach, which some find helpful, especially beginners. We offer three Initial Sittings with a trainer to help you progress faster. It also provides a sense of community, which makes it supportive.
