About this Event
Join Tacoma's Poet Laureate Mari G. for a gentle, grounding afternoon where mindfulness, sound, and poetry come together.
Meditate & Flow is a welcoming creative space designed for all experience levels whether you’re new to poetry, new to meditation, or simply looking to slow down and reconnect with yourself.
We will begin with a 15-minute sound bowl meditation to help settle the body and quiet the mind.
Mari G. will then offer a live poetry performance accompanied by sound bowls, creating a bridge between listening and creation.
From there, participants will be guided through a creative writing session with accessible poetry prompts, inviting you to write from presence rather than pressure.
The experience will close with an optional sharing circle, offering space for those who wish to share their words or reflections in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
No prior writing or meditation experience is required.
