🇺🇸 Be part of one of Gainesville’s most powerful traditions as we celebrate 25 years of honoring the courage and selflessness that the Medal of Honor represents. The Medal of Honor Parade begins at 10:00 AM at the Santa Fe Depot and travels west along California Street through Historic Downtown Gainesville, ending near Braum’s at California and Weaver.
Join us along the parade route with your flags 🇺🇸 and in your patriotic attire ❤️🤍💙 as our community comes in America's only official Medal of Honor Host City. This milestone year makes the celebration even more meaningful, and we hope to see the streets filled with neighbors, families, and visitors who want to be part of this special moment.
Parade entries are still being accepted, and we invite businesses, civic groups, schools, veterans organizations, and community groups to join the lineup and help make this 25th anniversary parade unforgettable.
After the parade, head to the Gainesville Civic Center for the Annual Book Signing from 12–2 PM, then continue the celebration downtown as the Historic Downtown Gainesville Alliance’s Wine & Art Stroll begins at 1 PM.
