Each session includes an informative presentation followed by hands-on meal preparation. You’ll learn valuable food preparation tips and tricks while creating a delicious "Med Way" dish!
Created by experts from NC State University and the NC Division of Public Health, Med Instead of Meds focuses on the proven health benefits of the Mediterranean diet. Eating the Med Way can help protect against chronic illnesses and, in some cases, may even reduce the need for medications for conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes.*
