This course will prepare individuals to be knowledgeable in areas of EMS course administration, planning, coordination and delivery; curriculum development; staff/instructor supervision; and academic institutional accreditation. Course content will include identifying teaching and learning outcome measures and validating graduate outcome measures as required by licensing and certification agencies. This course is one requirement of the North Carolina Office of EMS to become a Level II EMS instructor.In alignment with North Carolina Office of EMS (NCOEMS) rules, students will be expected to adhere to the highest standards of practice and uphold all regulatory requirements during their participation in this course. Compliance with these regulations not only ensures the integrity of the educational process but also reinforces professional standards critical to the EMS field. By fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, this program prepares participants to effectively navigate legal guidelines and maintain best practices in their future roles as EMS instructors.
