As we head into a season full of new and exciting initiatives, St John Center is thrilled to announce our first-ever Meat the Need Meat Raffle, happening on November 8th at Noble Funk Brewing. This event is sure to bring the community together for a night of fun, fellowship, and a chance to win delicious prizes—all while supporting our vital work.
A meat raffle is a beloved tradition in pubs across the globe, where participants purchase raffle tickets for the chance to win meat (or vegan meat!). With 20 rounds and 3 spins per round, there will be 180 chances to win a variety of meat or plant-based selections.

Bring a cooler, enjoy some friendly competition with games like “Split the Pot” and “Heads or Tails,” and get ready to make an impact in a unique way. All proceeds from the event go directly to support St John Center’s programs and services.
This year, we’ve launched several new initiatives, and we’re preparing for our biggest one yet—Sheehan Landing. Your participation in the meat raffle and other events helps lay the groundwork for these transformative projects, creating more opportunities to lift our community and support our neighbors experiencing homelessness.
The drawing will start at 8:00PM on November 8th, 2024 at St. John Center. You do not need to be present to win. Raffle ticket purchases are not tax deductible.
