MDPA (Melrose district progress association) AGM is on Sunday 23rd November, 7pm. All welcome! Please join us, even just to say hello!The MDPA is the event organising group that keeps the hall in use and pulls us together as a community.
In the past we have run Christmas Carnivals, pot lucks, trivia nights, bar nights, produce swaps, garage sales, markets, craft and food events, and games nights… continuing and creating new traditions from the old country dances and gatherings from the 1900’s.
We would LOVE to have more of the newer locals having a say and joining the fun too. We NEED your input, especially the mid & younger generations!
It is only a one hour long meeting every 3 months or so, usually on a Sunday night.
Not much effort for keeping our community connected and keeping our community hall in use - if we don’t use it, we lose it!
