About this Event
In celebration of RVA Bike Month (rvabikemonth.com) and International M**der, She Wrote Day, we're bringing the "M**der, She Rode" group ride back in May 2026!
The Gist
We will meet up (location TBD), where the details of a recent (made up) M**der will be announced (gasp!). The group will ride together to various locations in the city by solving clues leading them to the next location. At our last stop, the murderer will be revealed. Who did it? And how? And why? Let's find out!
The Garb
M**der, She Wrote's Jessica Fletcher was not only a quick-witted sleuth and author, but also knew her way around a bike! Everyone is encouraged to dress up as Jessica or any other character from Cabot Cove. Best impersonation wins our eternal admiration!
The Gallavanting
Bike route will be casually paced ride with clue pit stops, under 10 miles (route TBD). This is meant to be a chill Jessica Fletcher-paced ride along generally bike-friendly streets. This is not a race!
Unfamiliar with M**der, She Wrote?
The show debuted in 1984 and stars Angela Lansbury as Jessica Fletcher. Episodes are available on Prime, Tubi, AppleTV, and probably Youtube.
