M**der Maps: Crime, Science, and the Medieval City

Step into the world of medieval crime investigation! In this interactive workshop, participants will work with real coroners’ inquests from fourteenth-century England to solve a historical M**der mystery. Using the Medieval M**der Map digital resource, we’ll explore where crimes happened, what weapons were used, and how communities and environments shaped violence. Participants will then use map data and clues to reconstruct events and debate: what counts as evidence? How do we know what happened? The workshop links history with forensic science, geography, and storytelling.
