This Month MCYU Celebrates Young Innovators!
Meet our Young Innovators:
Joseph Stein-Muise:
Joseph is in his last year of Material Science and Engineering at McMaster University. He is the inventor of the Astroknife, inspired by the survival knives sent up with the Apollo 11 astronauts in the event they landed in the jungle upon re-entry.
Mann Parikh:
Mann Parikh is the founder and CEO of NerView Surgical, a medical technology company he started while still an undergraduate at McMaster University. NerView is building a tool that helps surgeons see nerves, the tiny wires in the body that let you smile, move, and feel, during surgery. He started the company because of something that happened in his own family.
At our Young Innovators Panel, we'll dive into these two innovators inspiration, the ups and down of their journey's and have lots of time for YOU to ask questions.
