The evening will feature a carefully curated pairing menu by Executive Chef Alberto Baffoni, blending classic Italian cuisine with a subtle touch of Texas flair to complement each wine. This special dinner celebrates the character, diversity, and sense of place that define Texas winemaking.

MEET THE HOST

Tessa Butterfield - Vice President of Sales & Marketing, McPherson Cellars
Tessa Butterfield’s passion for wine is deeply rooted in her background in agronomy and agriculture. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University, where she studied biology and chemistry, and began her wine career working hands on in both the tasting room and the winery. She has continued to expand her hospitality experience and wine education through certifications with the Court of Master Sommeliers and the Wine and Spirit Education Trust.
Today, as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for McPherson Cellars, Tessa plays a key role in sharing the story of Texas wine, working closely with winery and vineyard partners, and championing the quality, consistency, and identity of Texas grown wines. Her presence offers guests an engaging and insightful look into McPherson Cellars and the evolving Texas wine landscape.

The EVS Windblown Blend is a proprietary blend of Shiraz Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Petite Sirah, and Carignan. This expressive wine delivers ripe dark fruit, black cherry, subtle spice, and a smooth, balanced finish. One of McPherson Cellars’ most recognized wines, it showcases the winery’s signature style and the versatility of Texas grown fruit.
Fleur d’Orange Dessert Wine
Made from Orange Muscat, the Fleur d’Orange Dessert Wine presents aromas of citrus blossom and orange peel, followed by honeyed sweetness and vibrant acidity. Produced in limited quantities and typically reserved for winery guests and members only, this wine will be offered exclusively for tasting during the dinner and will not be available for sale, making it a rare and memorable experience for attendees.
