About this Event
Lace up your running shoes! NYC-based independent bookstore McNally Jackson and Tracksmith — an independent running brand focused on "the amateur spirit"— have launched a monthly run club for the literary minded!
This month, we will be reading What I Talk About When I Talk About Running by Haruki Murakami, which offers an intimate look at writing, running, and the incredible way they intersect. Please read the book before the run if you wish to join in our discussion!
(Please note the author will not be in attendance)
For the January run, we will meet at the Tracksmith Trackhouse (147 Wythe Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11249). Doors will open at 9:30am, and we will go out on a 5k run at 10:00am. Afterwards, we will have a cozy discussion of the book as we warm ourselves up with hot coffee and treats.
To sign up for future updates, follow @mcnallyjackson on Instagram, sign up for the McNally Jackson newsletter and Tracksmith newsletter, and follow Tracksmith's Strava page for route information.
