Event Information
Produced and sponsored by McKinney Main Street in partnership with the City of McKinney, Arts in Bloom takes place in downtown McKinney and showcases over 100 juried artists, along with the Local Artist Village, all set along the tree-lined streets surrounding the McKinney Performing Arts Center.
A nationally recognized participant in the Main Street Program, downtown McKinney features beautifully restored, turn-of-the-century buildings that house cafes, offices, boutiques, galleries, bars, and restaurants, creating a distinctive and inviting backdrop for the festival.
During the three-day event, downtown comes alive with a rich mix of sights and sounds. Fine artists, dancers, performance artists, musicians, Texas wineries, and food vendors all contribute to the vibrant celebration. Children can explore the KidsCreate Station, a hands-on area where young artists can learn about art techniques and create their own masterpieces.
Our 2026 festival dates, April 10–12, are thoughtfully scheduled between other major Texas art festivals, providing an ideal opportunity for both artists and attendees.

- Friday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (event open until 10:00 PM; artists may remain open)
- Saturday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM (event open until 10:00 PM; artists may remain open)
- Sunday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Arts in Bloom also features a Texas wine-tasting experience, attracting an “art and wine” audience. This popular component has grown each year, with more North Texas wineries participating, enhancing the festival’s appeal and creating a unique, upscale experience.
The festival is supported by a robust marketing campaign targeting a high-end demographic to maximize exposure and attendance.
