MCHS Competition Team Cheer Clinic 2026
A perfect holiday gift for your aspiring cheerleader, we are excited to bring back our Competition Team Cheer Clinic at Mt. Carmel High School. Whether your athlete is a beginner or seasoned cheerleader, they'll have a fantastic time learning a basketball halftime routine with our talented coach and competition cheer team! Your athlete will perform at halftime of the Varsity Boys Basketball Game (game starts at 7:00 p.m., halftime will be at approximately ~7:20).
Who: This event is open for 3rd - 8th graders

When: Friday, January 16th- 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Where: MCHS Basketball Gym
Cost: $55/Participant (3rd-8th grade) + eventbrite processing fees
Price for the cheer clinic includes: Cheer Bow, event T-Shirt, Pizza Dinner & Dessert, and a Basketball Halftime Performance with our Competition Cheer team! *If your child has food allergies, you can send something with them to eat.

All participants can arrive at MCHS for check in at 4:15 pm, on Friday, January 16th.
We will have a check-in table at the front of the school.

At check in, please provide us with the name of the adult that will be picking up your cheerleader. Checkout will be at S-11 (back exit of the gym). It is important that we know who is picking up your child after the half-time performance and have their contact information!
On Friday, the basketball game begins at 7:00 pm at Sundevil Gym (MCHS). Cheer Clinic participants will perform with the Mt. Carmel Competition Cheer team at half-time. The half-time show should be at ~7:20 pm and as soon as it is over you will need to pick up your child (~745 pm).
REGISTER DEADLINE: Space is limited and this event will sell out quickly! Registration for this event will close on Friday, January 9, 2026 or when it sells out, whichever comes first. We will have a waitlist and if you selected to add your child to the waitlist, you will be notified if space becomes available.
Note - Cheer Clinic cost does NOT include ticket to game for parents. Game tickets can be purchased online or at the stadium (cash only). After you click on the link, be sure to select the correct game.

*On game day, please send your children with the following:
-Signed waiver
-Hair in a ponytail (cheerleaders will help them with their bows)
-Wear black leggings with a tank top (participants will put the event t-shirt over their tank top)
NO BAGS /Water Bottles - please do not drop off your child with any bags. We will provide plenty of water!
