About this Event
McAllen Soccer Day 2026 is a citywide celebration uniting the entire soccer community through culture, competition, entertainment, and recognition. From youth athletes and legendary coaches to fan clubs, families, performers, and community leaders — this event is designed to honor the people helping grow the game across the Rio Grande Valley.
Join us at Las Palmas Community Center & Soccer Fields for an unforgettable evening featuring live entertainment, special honorees, food vendors, community activations, networking opportunities, and the official McAllen Soccer Day proclamation presentation.
The night will also feature the FREE Cash Prize Penalty Kick Contest with divisions for Youth, Teens, Women, and Men — giving the community a chance to compete, celebrate, and experience the energy of soccer together.

4:00 PM – Guest & Honoree Arrival
VIP guests, community leaders, honorees, media, and partners arrive for networking, photos, and event check-in.
4:30 PM – Vendor Village & Community Activations Open
Food vendors, local businesses, soccer organizations, fan clubs, and community booths officially open to attendees.
5:00 PM – Official McAllen Soccer Day Proclamation Ceremony
City leaders and special guests present the official proclamation recognizing McAllen Soccer Day and honoring individuals helping grow the game and community culture.
5:45 PM – Honoree Recognition & Community Spotlight
Recognition of soccer leaders, coaches, advocates, organizations, athletes, and community contributors making an impact across the Rio Grande Valley.
6:00 PM – FREE Cash Prize Penalty Kick Contest Begins
