Do you want the ultimate London underground event with soulful experimental live music?
Mazvita's single release party might be the event for you, celebrating the release of a new single and the anniversary of her first EP. She will be joined by her friends from acoustic, afrobeats to hip-hop music. There is a sound for everyone to fall in love with.The event will immediately be followed by eclectic DJs spinning sounds from all over the world, encompassing the diverse sounds that make up London.
The ticket proceeds will go towards Common Cause UK-DRC.
They are a grassroots non-profit organisation registered in both the UK and DRC. The organisation was established by Migrant and Refugee Congolese Women. They organise trainings and workshops in addressing & ending violence against women and girls in the UK and DRC, and support Projects to economically and intellectually empower women/girls in the DRCongo. They also support Francophone Black/Minority Women and survivors of GBV/ GBSV, listen to women, offer translation for referral, organize trainings/ workshops or events, and gather voices/ break the silence on VAW- patriarchal, traditional or religious norms. They liaise/campaign with other NGOs in the UK- EU –DRC, and Worldwide, raising the voices of Congolese women at the international level.

About the headliner:
Mazvita is an independent Zimbabwean-British singer-songwriter. Stemming in R&B, her music influences are genre-agnostic. Her music often explores the complexities of emotion and life through her soulful voice and ethereal harmonies with poetic lyrics that are melancholic and honest.Mazvita, born and raised in Manchester, has always been making music, singing from an early age and writing her first song when she was only 9 years old. The songstress roots her music in poetry.
She will be joined by some of the most exciting acts in the underground!
