Welcome back to MazdACT for another big year with the biggest cruise of them all - an epic 35 km journey to the farthest western corner of the nation's capital by road to the biggest dam in the catchment at Corin.
Join JDM and guest vehicles from across Canberra as we gather at Tharwa Country Store for a carpark max out before a convoy north west and across Namadgi National Park to Corin Dam.
There, we'll stage our huge end-to-end photo across the dam wall before a late lunch and picnic at that Canberra tourism staple; Corin Forest.
All our welcome as we return for our fifth year. Observation of the road rules and respect to non-guest drivers is expected as always. We further extend our welcome to the motorcycle community.
THE DAY IN DETAILS.
10.00 AM - Guests arrive to Tharwa Country Store on Tidbinbilla Rd, Tharwa for a pre-meet show 'n' shine, catch up, speech from Director Justin Bush and final directions for the day.
10.30 AM - Convoy departs Tharwa via Tidbinbilla Rd to Corin Rd and heads west across Namadgi National Park to Corin Dam.
11.00 AM - Arrive to Corin Dam and vehicles turnout shuffle to fill dam wall roadway from end to end. Photographers and guests invited to capture media and all-in photo.
12.00 PM - Convoy departs Corin Dam for Corin Forest and (12.15 PM) woodfired pizza luncheon picnic on grounds. Parking is off-road and caution is urged.
01.30 PM - Event concludes and guests return east via Corin Rd to Tidbinbilla Rd and Canberra (return cruise if remaining with main group will head north to Cotter Dam for a concluding photo-stop)
