The Maymont at 100 Speaker Series continues on June 3 with a talk "Revitalizing a Historic Landscape" with a special guest speaker, Peggy Singlemann, retired long-time Director of Horticulture and Park Operations at Maymont. Peggy will present on the transformation of Maymont from a private estate to a public park and sustained effort of the horticulture department to preserve the history of the grounds while welcoming nearly 1 million visitors a year. Following Peggy's presentation, we will have a Q&A with current Senior Manager of Horticulture, Sean Proietti, to learn more about the care and preservation of the park.
