Learn the fundamentals of figurative sculpture in this 4-week introductory ceramics course!
About this Event

About the class:

In this ceramics class, you will learn the basics of building your own figurative human and animal sculptures. Over the course of four (4) weeks, you will be taught how to build shape and proportion, create texture on clay and apply ceramic paints and glazes. Work at your own pace with step-by-step guidance and class demonstrations.

Age: 18+

Dates: Saturdays, 2-23 May (4 weeks), 4-6:30pm

Cost:

$110 General Admission

$99 Concession (Students, seniors)

Note: This class has a maximum capacity of 10 students and requires a minimum of 5 students to run.

After hours access: Bankstown Arts Centre closes to the public at 4pm. To access the classroom after hours, please enter through the back gate via the Olympic Parade car park.

Cancellation Policy:

Bankstown Arts Centre cannot accept responsibility for changes to students’ personal circumstances that prevent attendance. Fees are non-refundable and there are no transfers or refunds if you miss a class.

Fees are kept to a minimum and cover tuition, the use of equipment during classes and where included, the cost of tutor fees and/ or basic materials. Fees and charges may increase per financial year. For more information on fees, refer to Canterbury-Bankstown Fees and Charges document
