About this Event

Sound Healing Experience

Treat yourself to a full afternoon retreat :- Imagine stepping into a serene space where time slows, and a sense of calm begins to gently unfold.

We start gently.

A chance to arrive, to settle, perhaps to notice your breath…
without needing to change it.

From there, you’ll be guided into a simple, grounding experience with the drum—
not to take you anywhere, but to support a soft transition out of the constant doing
and into something a little more spacious.

As the afternoon unfolds, you’ll be resting with the subtle sounds of Gongs, crystal bowls, and other instruments.

There’s nothing you need to do during this time.

Some people notice their body beginning to soften.
Others become aware of how busy the mind has been.
And sometimes, there’s simply a sense of pausing in a way that doesn’t often happen.

Whatever your experience, it’s enough.

The sounds and vibrations can be received in your own way.

You might find yourself becoming more aware of your body,
or noticing moments of quiet between thoughts,
or simply resting more deeply than usual.

There’s no right way for this to be.

This is not about reaching a particular state,
or trying to create an outcome.

It’s simply an opportunity to spend time in a space
where things can settle, in their own way.

We’ll gently come back together with refreshments,
and, if it feels natural, the option to share space and conversation with others.

The retreat takes place within the beautiful surroundings of the Grade II listed gardens at Sedgwick Park—offering a quiet backdrop to the afternoon and an opprtunity to explore before you return home if desired.

You don’t need to know what you’re looking for.

Sometimes it’s enough to recognise
that a different kind of space might be welcome.
