Rob Reichman, WA3IHV, is the current President of the San Diego DX Club (SDDXC), one of the oldest and most respected DX organizations in the country, founded in 1946. A dedicated DXer and active contester, Rob brings decades of on-the-air experience and a deep passion for chasing rare DX to his presentations.Licensed as an Amateur Extra class operator, Rob has been active in the amateur radio community for many years. He previously served in leadership roles within the club and continues to drive its activities, including monthly programs featuring top DXers and technical experts. Under his guidance, the SDDXC remains a vibrant hub for serious DX enthusiasts in Southern California, with strong participation in major contests and DXpeditions.
In his professional life, Rob has nearly 45 years of experience in the medical field, including extensive work as a cardiothoracic professional. He resides in Escondido, California, where he enjoys operating from his well-equipped station and mentoring newer operators.
