🌳 The Nebraska Children’s Commission is the driving force behind improving child welfare and juvenile justice in Nebraska.📣 Our committees are the backbone of the Commission’s work, diving deep into specific child welfare and juvenile justice topics.
The Juvenile Services Committee evaluates the Office of Juvenile Services and makes recommendations to improve Youth Rehabilitation and Treatment Centers (YRTCs) and the broader juvenile justice system. Through specialized workgroups, the JSC focuses on Needs Assessment, Racial and Ethnic Disparities, and YRTC operations to drive meaningful reform.
