Each month, we dive into a new topic related to filmmaking, bringing together local creatives for an evening of learning, sharing, and inspiration. These meetings are designed to be both fun and informative, providing insights into what's happening in the Kansas City film scene while offering valuable opportunities to connect with others.

Our mission, as part of the Independent Filmmakers Coalition (IFCKC), is to foster collaboration, creativity, and innovation in the local filmmaking community. We aim to support filmmakers through networking events, educational programs, exhibition platforms, and mentorship opportunities.

ABOUT THE VENUE

The Bird Comedy Theater is located in the Crossroads Arts District. Voted "Best Comedy Club", they offer improv, sketch, stand-up, and burlesque shows as well as classes in improv and sketch writing. Check them out at www.thebirdkc.com

With a mission to foster collaboration, creativity, and innovation, the IFCKC has provided hundreds of educational programs, networking events, film competitions, and opportunities for community growth and engagement.
