Calling all members, supporters, and their families. We invite you to join us for one of the biggest events on the union calendar, our annual May Day Parade in nipaluna/Hobart!May Day is the International Workers Day. It's a special day for union members to celebrate our achievements, the gains we've made, and the conditions we've won to build safer, and fair, workplaces and communities.
This is an inclusive, family friendly event for the whole union family. It doesn't matter which union you are with. We come together on this day to show our solidarity as members of the trade union movement.
⏰ 11.30am begin to assemble, strictly 12 noon kick off
📍 Assemble behind the CPSU office in Victoria Street
👟 Walk in solidarity around the CBD displaying our union pride
🌭 Arrive back at the CPSU for a FREE BBQ and lots of activities for the kids
🦎 There will be games, balloons, face painting, AND SO MUCH MORE.
