Outdoor Exhibit
April 25–May 9, 2026, during cemetery hours
A self-guided outdoor exhibit featuring biographies of more than 100 people buried at Radical Row. Visitors can explore the site at their own pace and learn about the labor leaders, activists, and radicals who shaped working-class history.
May Day at Haymarket Martyrs' Monument
May 1, 2026, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
The Historical Society of Forest Park will be in the chapel offering free information, answering questions, and selling books and merchandise. Buttons of the Left will also be joining us with a display of buttons related to May day and involvement of individuals buried at the cemetery.
Mark Rogovin: Working Class Heroes Award and Buttons of the Left
May 1, 2026, at noon
At noon, we will present the annual Mark Rogovin: Working Class Heroes Award to an individual who embodies Mark Rogovin’s dedication to labor history and the working class, followed by a presentation by Isaac Silver of Buttons of the Left exploring labor history through buttons.
