The Anna T. Jeanes School once served as a cornerstone of the Fairhope South community — a historic gathering place for education, celebration, and connection. Today, Hope Community is working to thoughtfully restore and revitalize this land so it can once again serve as a vibrant hub for neighbors of all ages.
Rooted in preserving African American history and honoring the families who shaped Fairhope South, this vision includes a teaching farm, teaching kitchen, gardens, nature trails, arts and cultural spaces, and programs that nurture unity and relationships through food, healing, and education.
Bring your friends and family to be a part of our ongoing story that honors the past while growing a healthy, connected community for generations to come.
