Rooted In Broward Plant Swap is back this Sunday, May 31st from 2–close at Laser Wolf in Fort Lauderdale (901 Progresso Dr, Ste 101, Fort Lauderdale). Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just starting your plant journey, the swap is all about sharing the love of plants, meeting new friends, and supporting local vendors who keep our community rooted and growing.It's not just a swap — it’s a whole plant-filled party with vendors, great food, cold drinks, a DJ, and an awesome raffle. Here’s everything you need to know:

How the Plant Swap Works
The plant swap is open to everyone—just bring established cuttings, rooted plants, or planty-related treasures to share and swap. Here are the basic rules so everyone has a great time:
* It’s totally free and open to everyone! Bring rooted plants, cuttings, pots, tools, or planty decor to trade.
* Swap from the designated tables on the patio.
* Only items on the clearly marked FREE TABLE are available for take or trade—don’t grab anyone else’s plants without asking.
* No sales allowed (only official vendors can sell) — violators will be asked to leave and banned.
* Not swapping? Perfect! You can still hang out, shop vendor booths, eat, drink, and be part of the vibe.
* Please be kind — introduce yourself, ask questions, and always get consent before trading.
* No pushy or bullying behavior—this is a community space with good vibes only.
* Photos and videos will be taken for promotion; attending means you consent to being filmed

The fun doesn’t stop at swapping and shopping, be sure to buy raffle tickets! At 6 PM inside Laser Wolf you'll have a chance to win amazing raffle prizes while giving back to the community. This is the highlight of the event and we have SO MANY PRIZES!
* Raffle Tickets: $5 each or 5 for $20
* Raffle starts at 6 PM inside Laser Wolf. All the proceeds go toward future swaps, raffle prizes, and tipping our DJ + bartenders. Good times for a great community!
* Groove to the beats of DJ Y.K. Hamilton (@y.k.hamilton) while enjoying cold beers poured by Cameron (@camcamthestoutman) and Jerrod of the Laser Wolf staff.
