About this Event
Dates & times: May 2, 10 am – 4pm and May 3, 10 am – 4 pm
In this two-day workshop, participants will learn the basics of working with soft glass. Students will learn how to navigate the hot shop, incorporate color into pieces, and make art like paper weights and ornaments. Using tools, breath, and heat, each participant will have a chance to learn how the glass reacts to what is happening around it. Students will acquire a better understanding of how the glass turns from a liquid into a colorful, solid piece of art!
No experience requried. Lunch will be provided in Pilchuck's historic lodge.
Participants age 14+ are welcome. Parents or guardians must sign up alongside participants under the age of 18.
