Sunday 10th May – Bring Your Own Paddle Boarding Session (PM)Location: Aldwark
Cost: £12 - (Offline payment via bank transfer or cash on the day to avoid card fees please)
The session starts at 4:00pm.
Please arrive before this time to allow yourself time to get your board and kit ready so we can begin the session promptly.
Please note: You must have paddled before to attend this session. If you are completely new to paddle boarding, please book one of our beginner sessions where all equipment and instruction is provided.
Bring your own paddle board and join us for a relaxed and social paddle on the River Ure at Aldwark. This session is perfect if you already have your own board and want to build confidence paddling with others.
The session will last around 1.5 hours, depending on the group’s confidence and conditions. Guidance and support will be provided throughout, covering safety, paddling techniques and tips to help you feel more confident getting out on the water independently.
Whether you're fairly new to paddle boarding or already enjoy getting out regularly, this is a great opportunity to paddle with others and enjoy a supportive environment.

The entrance is the lane opposite the Scout Hut in Aldwark which has a YTO banner at the front. Drive down there and you will see us.
Please note
There are no changing facilities, so it is best to arrive wearing your swimwear.
What to bring
Swimsuit and clothing suitable for paddling (leggings/t-shirt or similar).
Bring dry clothes for afterwards and a towel.
Footwear
Shoes you don’t mind getting wet (old trainers are ideal).
No open-toe footwear or Crocs.
