Los Angeles-born Max Haymer is a powerhouse in contemporary jazz, known for his electrifying performances and original compositions. A graduate of UC Irvine with honors, he has earned accolades including the SouthArts Jazz Roads award and top prizes at the Montreux Jazz Festival Solo Piano Competition and Great American Jazz Piano Competition.

Haymer has performed and recorded with legends like Arturo Sandoval, Jane Monheit, Ivan Lins, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, gracing iconic venues such as Disney Hall, Ronnie Scott’s, Blue Note NYC/Tokyo, and the Newport Jazz Festival. His critically acclaimed album WHIRLWIND: Live at Sam First showcases his bold artistry, reaching audiences in 148 countries.

Currently touring with Sandoval and collaborating with Monheit, Haymer continues to captivate audiences worldwide, blending dazzling technique with boundless creativity.
