RULES for this Tournament:
-Team Formation: Teams consist of four players. (Teams with less than 4 players may be allowed to play, see "Tee Shots" for more information on this.
-Tee Shots: Each player tees off on every hole. After all four tee shots, the team selects the best tee shot, considering factors like distance and position. If a team has less than 4 players they may alternate players to take the open slots. The same player cannot use the open slot consecutively.
-Subsequent Shots: After selecting the best tee shot, all team members move their balls to that spot and play their next shots from there. (within 1 club length)
-Continuation: This process continues until the ball is holed. The team will select the best shot for each stroke, and all players will play from that spot. Once a ball is holed the hole is finished and the achieved score must be taken.
-Putts: On the putting green, the same process applies. The team selects the best ball for the first putt, and all subsequent putts are played from that spot. (within 12 inches no closer to the hole) A marker must be used.
-Recording Scores: The team records the best score achieved on each hole. This is typically done by designating one player to record the team's scorecard. A second play will be a witness.
-Penalties: Penalties incurred during play are applied to the team's score as usual. For example, if all players hit their balls out-of-bounds a 2 stroke penalty is incurred.
-Teams may buy mulligans for $20 a piece, honor code is expected.
