About the Speakers

Faisal Abid is Head of Artificial Intelligence at Bitstrapped, a Telus company helping enterprises turn AI and machine learning into real business impact. He is also the founder of Interstellar Labs, where he invests in and helps build early-stage technology companies, and serves on the Board of Directors for Code for Canada, supporting the responsible use of AI in the public sector. Previously, he held multiple CTO roles and with over 15 years leading engineering teams across e-commerce, fintech, and healthcare, he architects scalable systems and loves sharing what he's learned about making AI actually work.

Aadil Kazmi is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree and Head of Artificial Intelligence at Infios, where he guides the AI roadmap across a global portfolio of intelligent supply chain execution solutions. Previously, he co‑founded and led Swyft, a Shopify‑backed same‑day delivery startup through a major growth round and acquisition, served as Co‑Founder and CEO of Normal AI building enterprise search and workflow agents, and led AI deployments and large‑scale data initiatives for Fortune 100 companies in senior roles at Amazon and Bell.

Bilal Khan is the Founder and General Partner at Intuition Capital and recognised among Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 and Bay Street Bull Power 50 list. With over 20 years of leadership across finance, technology, and law, he has driven growth and innovation as Managing Partner at WeShall, Managing Director and Head of Snowflake Canada, and Managing Partner at Deloitte. Bilal also founded OneEleven, Canada’s leading scale-up hub, and began his career as Legal Counsel at Russell Investments. A committed community leader, he serves on boards including the University of Waterloo, Ontario Chamber of Commerce, and Toronto Global.

Nic Wall is a Senior Associate at Torys LLP whose practice centers on privacy, cybersecurity, and data governance. He advises clients on privacy law compliance and data rights and protection, particularly in the context of new initiatives and emerging technologies, commercial transactions, legal reform, and data‑breach preparedness and response. Nic also represents clients in regulatory complaints and investigations, administrative proceedings, and civil litigation, delivering pragmatic, business‑aware counsel across complex data matters. He holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from Western University and a bachelor’s degree from Queen’s University.
