Welcome to an interstellar broadcast.

COSMIC HEAT is a heels-forward, sci-fi–inspired dance showcase set inside the final broadcast of a fictional reality show from deep space. For one night only, The Grand transforms into the galaxy’s hottest stage—bursting with flair, cosmic attitude, and star-level spectacle.

Each performance by The Mavens becomes part of a transmission from various corners of the universe, blending the sensuality of heels dance and star-level stage presence into an electrifying experience. Expect faux commercial breaks, special guests and a host to keep the chaos on course.

Cosmo Christoffersen is a writer, performer, producer, and medieval lit nerd based in Mohkinstis/Calgary. They are the director of the Festival of Animated Objects, an annual puppet & mask festival that takes over the city every March. Cosmo holds an MFA in Theatre Studies from the University of Calgary, where they studied Middle English poetry and immersive performance. If Cosmo isn't hanging out with their wife and French Bulldog, they are probably glued to their sewing machine.
