Please join us for a night of music and fun as we raise funds for a great local cause "Brown Bagging For Calgary's Kids" (BB4CK). As has been the bands mission over the past twenty years we strive to help not for profit organizations as they work tirelessly to make a difference in our community. BB4CK is an outstanding example of such an organization and we are thrilled to support them through this event.
One hundred percent the monies generated from ticket sales (less ticketing fees) will go to support BB4CK and the tremendous work they do. The cost of providing a full lunch, sandwich, veggies, fruit and a snack is $4.00 per child, the sale of 120 tickets at $20 each would provide lunch for 600 children.
Just so you know how your attendance and generosity will be making a difference, here is some current information on BB4CK’s efforts and impact on our community.
❤️ Number of Kids: Almost 8,000 kids in Kindergarten through Grade 12 receive lunch, every school day, from one of our kitchens.
❤️ Number of Schools: We partner with 290+ schools to deliver lunches to their students.
❤️ Community groups: Numerous community groups across the city prepare and deliver lunches for kids in their communities.
❤️ Number of Volunteers each week: Over 650 volunteers help prepare and deliver lunches for kids every week at our Central and Community kitchens.
❤️ Cost of a Lunch: $4 provides a full lunch, including a sandwich, veggies, fruit and a snack.
