About Mav:

As a comedian, Mav has headlined a sold out show for Netflix is a Joke Festival in 2024 as well as recorded a set for Netflix is a Joke Radio show “Are You Still Listening” on SiriusXM. Mav can also be seen on Season 14 of Comedy Central Featuring. She regularly headlines around the country and has featured for comics like Whitney Cummings and Margaret Cho. Mav’s standup is personal, reflective, and magnetic. Mav is able to connect with any audience by way of her approachable authenticity and light.

As an actor, Mav can be seen alongside Ilia Shlesinger and Margaret Cho in Good On Paper (Netflix), Mayans MC (FX), A Little Late With Lilly Singh (NBC), Butch Pal for the Straight Gal (Roku) and additional independent films. As a creator, Mav’s online following has amassed 22k+ followers on Tiktok and 14k+ on Instagram and she continues to grow and reach people with her unique, edgy, inclusive perspective.

In addition to writing and performing, Mav is partners in the cannabis non-alcoholic beer company Inde Local along with her entertainment colleagues and founders of the company: Kim Leadford, Matt Moore, and Kate Nayberg.

Mav is also a strong advocate for social rights and sexual assault victims. She was given the Fight Against Crime award by the Commonwealth of Virginia for her role in the conviction of her abuser, wherein they also managed to change the laws around convictions in the state of Virginia to make it easier for victims to seek justice.
