In this practical, hands-on workshop, participants will learn the essential skills needed to professionally mat and frame their own artwork—ensuring it’s ready to hang, showcase, or submit for exhibition.

Participants must bring:

· A piece of artwork on paper or canvas board

· A frame of their choice (with or without an included mat)

During the workshop, we’ll cover:

· How to measure and cut a clean, precise mat

· Techniques for safely mounting artwork

· Assembling and securing artwork inside a frame

· Preparing the frame to hang

· Best practices for finishing the piece so it’s truly display-ready
