He started on Austin's Eastside when he was a kid, playing with Dr. James Polk, W.C. Clark, Blues Boy Hubbard, etc.. He has played all over Austin and internationally for almost fifty years. His signature guitar sound and celebrated gutsy gritty voice are trademark sounds in Austin blues.
