STYLING

Please note that there will be a variety of designer looks to choose from this collection during this port booster. Please be aware of the timing and what you can achieve as it will take 5/10 mins to change into each outfit.

ABOUT THIS COLLECTION

Matthew David Andrews’ debut collection is inspired by the metaphor of gamers playing a game and comparing this to the world we live in. A comment on how AI and technology is taking over and how it is difficult to understand what is reality and what isn’t. Playing games scrambles your brain.

“Using this as the starting point as a way to communicate my vision of the world through garments, a key element of this concept has been used as a design tool in developing the collection. AI image generation has been used to create prints - what looks like a cable knit jumper is in fact a print on jersey fabric. Playing with the brain and blurring the line of what looks real before we look deeper. Beyond the pixels and rendering.”

The collection exploits conventions, comically exaggerating styles and using popular culture as a way to inject satire into visuals. Warping a digital reality.
