- week 1 (1/30) : crocheting rag rugs
- week 2 (2/6) : crocheting doilies
- week 3 (2/13) : weaving trivets
- week 4 (2/20) : craft circle gathering
- week 5 (2/27) : weaving to mend
* no textile experience necessary.
* all materials are included, but feel free to bring any unwanted fabric or threads from home that you want to use!
jen chen-su huang is an artist and writer whose work concerns memory, touch, and materiality; she has been supported by the fulbright foundation and published by yale university press. huang received her mfa in fiber and material studies from the school of the art institute of chicago and her ba from the university of california, berkeley. she is currently a phd candidate in performance studies at new york university and teaches in the textiles department at parsons school of design.
